Accommodation

Accommodation will be provided in a comfortable family home, also the location where daily lessons will be held.

The house is in a quiet neighbourhood which overlooks the bay of Kavala and the island of Thassos. There is a five minute walk to the local beach which has the European Blue Flag Award. This part of Kavala is called Kalamitsa and is approximately 2.5 km from the city centre, easily accessed by bus for less than €1. Buses pass every 15 minutes or so. This location offers all the benefits of a peaceful setting and everything that one would expect from a holiday destination such as watersports facilities and tavernas, whilst being near to the cultural attractions and amenities of the city, including a regular ferry to Thassos.
